Ekenasio unavailable for Silver Ferns selection

Ameliaranne Ekenasio has today confirmed she will be unavailable for Silver Ferns squad selection as she and husband, Damien, are expecting their first child.
Ekenasio made her debut for the Silver Ferns in 2014 and has gone on to wear the Black Dress in 12 Tests.
The talented shooter had signed with the Central Pulse for the 2017 ANZ Premiership.
Silver Ferns coach Janine Southby says Ekenasio is a valuable member of the squad and had performed strongly during the 2016 international season.
“This is an exciting time for Ameliaranne and Damien – we wish them all the best and look forward to adding another new addition to the Silver Ferns family,” Southby said.
