Silver Ferns and National Development Squad Triallists Announced

Netball New Zealand has today announced 25 athletes who have been selected to take part in the Silver Ferns and National Development Squad trials in Auckland from December 7-11, 2015.

Captain Casey Kopua has been granted extended leave until the end of January 2016 by Netball New Zealand following the New World Netball Series for the Constellation Cup. It has been a big 12 months for Kopua who made her return from a serious knee injury in May to lead the Silver Ferns at Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015.

The trials also signal the return to Netball for shooter Maria Tutaia, who missed the Constellation Cup on extended leave.

The 2016 Silver Ferns Squad and National Development Squad will be announced on Thursday 10 December, 2015.
