100 Days To Go Until Netball World Cup

An important milestone is recognised today as the countdown to Netball’s pinnacle event, the Netball World Cup (NWC2015) in Sydney, reaches the 100 day mark.

 

Preparations are in full swing in Sydney for the 10 day event which starts on August 7 and culminates on Finals Day, August 16. The top 16 Netball nations will compete for the top prize in world Netball, with the teams split into four pools of four teams at the start of the competition.

It’s been 24 years since the event was last held in Australia and the world’s top ranked Australian Diamonds will be out to defend their title in 100 days’ time.

Sydney Olympic Park is the venue for Netball’s biggest event, with matches being played at Allphones Arena and Netball Central, two venues within the precinct.
