Road to NWC2015: Singapore announces team

Netball Singapore has announced their team of 12 for Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, 7 – 16 August.

Former Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken will lead the team in Sydney with Lin Qingyi Micky appointed captain, alongside Chen Huifen and Nurul Baizura as co-vice captains.

Ranked 17th in the world, Singapore joins the Malawi, South Africa and Sri Lanka in Pool C at NWC2015.

The Silver Ferns could face Singapore in the Qualification Rounds, depending on results and final placings following the Preliminary Rounds.

Netball fans will be able to watch all Silver Ferns NWC2015 matches live on SKY Sport (check local guides).

Singapore’s team to contest NWC2015:

Lin Qingyi Micky (captain), Chen Huifen (co- vice-captain), Nurul Baizura (co- vice-captain), Ang Shi Qi, Charmaine Soh, Chen Lili, Kimberly Lim, Pamela Liew, Premila Hirubalan, Olivia Flanagan, Shelby Koh and Yu Mei Ling.
