Road to NWC2015: Sunshine Girls announce team

Netball Jamaica has announced the Sunshine Girls team to compete at Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, 7 – 16 August 2015.

The 12-member team features Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel shooter and New Zealand Conference MVP, Jhaniele Fowler-Reid, as well as Mission Queensland Firebirds premiership player and Australian Conference MVP, Romelda Aiken.

The Sunshine Girls, ranked fourth in the world, are in Pool B alongside England, Scotland and Samoa.

The Silver Ferns could face the Sunshine Girls in the Qualification Rounds, depending on results and final placings following the Preliminary Rounds.

Sunshine Girls to contest NWC2015:

Nicole Aiken-Pinnock (captain), Paula Thompson (vice-captain), Romelda Aiken, Shanice Beckford, Kadie-Ann Dehaney, Nicole Dixon, Stacian Facey, Jhaniele Fowler-Reid, Anna Kay Griffiths, Sasher-Gaye Henry, Khadijah Williams, and Vangelee Williams.
