Always a player of enormous potential, the influence of Auckland midcourter Grace Rasmussen continues to reach new heights throughout her international career.

Her specialities of quickness off the line, silky feeding skills, high work rate, ability to find space and determined defensive efforts, have combined to produce an accomplished and clever wing attack.

Rasmussen cut her teeth in international Netball at Netball World Youth Cup 2005 as part of the winning NZ U21 side.

In 2009, Rasmussen travelled to England as a training partner for the Silver Ferns, and was included in the national senior squad soon after.

Of Samoan origin, it was a special moment for Rasmussen to make her Silver Ferns debut against Samoa in Porirua in 2010. She had frequent court time in pool play at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi on the way to New Zealand's gold medal win.

Often used as a utility in the past, where she was equally adept at goal attack, Rasmussen’s game continued to grow since solely operating as a wing attack after moving to the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in 2014 following six years with the Northern Mystics in the ANZ Championship.

She was also a member of the team that won silver at Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015.
